SMART GLASS
At the press of a switch it is possible to go from clear to translucent within seconds. SmartGlass from Preedy enables you to have a room with a view, but with privacy when required.
SmartGlass is a laminated glass comprising of two pieces of glass with a liquid crystal film.
When SmartGlass is turned off from its power supply the effect is to scatter the liquid crystals in a random pattern preventing vision through the glass.
By simply switching on the power the current aligns the liquid crystals allowing vision through the glass.
SmartGlass gives immediate control over window privacy, can be supplied using grey, green, bronze and blue float glass and incorporated into a double glazed unit.
It also has excellent sound proofing qualities with extra safety and security. |
